1 ASSAULT RIFLES

Note: The Reflex sight has a magnification of 1.0, whereas the Red Dot Sight has a magnification of 1.5. The Reflex has a thick casing, which covers up a significant amount of space on the screen, but it does reduce the recoil on all guns, and some in particular (Commando).

Enfield – You unlock the Enfield at level 5. It takes 3 shots to kill someone at close range and 4 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.08 seconds. Its magazine size is 30 rounds and 45 with extended magazines. The Enfield is a great starting point in Black Ops; it has little recoil when you add the Reflex Sight. I personally alternated between the Enfield and the MP5k until level 13 when you unlock the FAMAS.

Famas – The Famas is one of my favorite weapons in Black Ops. You unlock it at level 14. It is fully automatic unlike MW2, and has a high rate of fire and a moderate damage level. It takes 3 shots to kill someone at close range and 4 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.06 seconds. Its magazine size is 30 rounds and 45 with extended magazines. I use the Famas on small to medium size maps, because I use the suppressor attachment, which does not affect the guns recoil. When trying to hit a long-range target you should shoot in short bursts to avoid serious recoil. The Famas is my most used weapon and it is truly one of the best guns in the game. For those of you who played MW2, it reminds me of the ACR with slightly more recoil.

Galil – The Galil is fully automatic and has slightly more damage than the Famas, but a slower rate of fire. It takes 3 shots to kill someone at close range and 4 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.08 seconds. Its magazine size is 35 rounds and 50 with extended magazines. The Galil should be used on medium to large sized maps, because the recoil on the gun is very low, but people who are using guns such as the Famas or any submachine gun will kill you faster on small maps, assuming they see you first. You unlock the Galil at level 20.

AUG – The AUG is very similar to the Famas. It is fully automatic and it takes 3 shots to kill someone at close range and 4 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.06 seconds. Its magazine size is 30 rounds and 45 with extended magazines. You unlock it at level 26. The AUG is one of the most popular guns in online play. Saying it is very accurate and can certainly pack a punch. Personally I never really used the AUG a lot because I found I had better success while using the Famas. “The AUG is an assault rifle with a high rate of fire and low to moderate recoil. Its recoil can become problematic especially when shooting at long range, as the gun randomly jumps, making follow up shots difficult. It excels in short to medium range, especially when equipped with optics. It can be purchased at level 26. Similar to some other weapons, the AUG can be fitted with its signature, default Swarovski Scope by purchasing the ACOG attachment.” - http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/AUG

FN FAL – The FN FAL is one of two semi-automatic assault rifles in Black Ops. I personally like it more than the M14, especially in Core Matches online. You unlock it at level 32. It takes 2 shots to kill someone at close range and 3 shots at long range. Time between shots is said to be 0.10 seconds minimum. When I use it I find that I really need to play tactfully in order to defend objectives while maintaining a positive KDR (Kill to Death Ratio). Its magazine size is 20 rounds and 30 with extended magazines. I highly recommend using the FN FAL in Hardcore Matches online. You will find that it takes 1-2 shots to kill your enemies. If you put a silencer on it, then it will take 2-3 shots to kill an enemy from a distance. In Core Matches online I use a Reflex sight, because it reduces recoil when I fire faster.

Commando – The Commando is my personal favorite gun in Black Ops. It is the last assault rifle you unlock, and you unlock it at level 44. (After the Commando if you have purchased every other assault rifle, you unlock the G11.) The Commando is fully automatic and has slightly more damage than the Famas, but a slower rate of fire. It takes 3 shots to kill someone at close range and 4 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.08 seconds. I find that the commando is very hard to use when you are not using a Reflex sight. I personally use a Reflex sight on it despite the fact that I show up on the mini map when I fire. The commando has a moderate amount of damage, but when using the Reflex sight it has almost no recoil. It reminds me of the M4 from MW2 in the sense that it is super accurate and does good damage.

G11 – The G11 is much like the M16. It shoots in 3 round burst, but it only has two attachments, the Low Power Scope and the Variable Zoom Scope. You unlock it after purchasing all other assault rifles so the soonest you can get it is level 44. It takes 3 shots to kill someone at close range and 4 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.05 seconds, making it the fastest gun in the sense of rate of fire. Its magazine size is 48 rounds. Personally I find that you have to put the Low Power Scope on it. When you use the standard iron sights it just feels wrong! When you use the Variable Zoom lens, it is too inaccurate and takes too long to zoom in. Also people often compare it with the M16, because they both use three round bursts, but other than that there is no comparison for me. I really like the G11, but I like it on medium to larger sized maps. I have gotten a lot of kill streaks with it, and it is really fun to use. When you use it you should use no attachment and definitely use steady aim!

2 SUMACHINE GUNS

MP5K – The MP5K is a free gun from level 1. It is in the premade class “SMG.” It takes 3 shots to kill and enemy in close combat and 5 shots to kill a distant target. The normal magazine holds 30 rounds and with the extended magazine it is 45 rounds. The time between shots is 0.08 seconds; you can however use the attachment rapid fire to increase the time between shots making it incredibly lethal in close range fighting. As I said before I used this and the Enfield until level 13. I used this in small to medium sized maps and the Enfield on larger maps. So I basically used this 2/3 of the time from levels 1-14. After that I rarely use this gun, because the other submachine guns and assault rifles blow it right out of the water, however this is the best gun before unlocking the Famas.

AK74u – The AK74u is another incredibly popular gun in Black Ops. You unlock it at level 17. It takes 3 shots to kill and enemy in close combat and 5 shots to kill a distant target. The normal magazine holds 30 rounds and with the extended magazine it is 45 rounds. The time between shots is 0.08 seconds; you can however use the attachment rapid fire to increase the time between shots making it incredibly lethal in close range fighting. I find the statistic on this gun to be wrong, the stats taken from various sources all saying the same things. When I use this gun it is basically a better version of the AK-47, which was very surprising. When you add a Reflex sight it is very accurate at close combat, but as with almost any other gun you still need to fire in short bursts to kill distant targets. I never used this gun until I reached about level 32. Then I got bored of the Famas and decided to use this gun since it was so popular. At first I used Grip, which really improved the accuracy but I still think the Reflex sight is the best non-lethal attachment. I also used the grenade launcher on it when I play tactical games such as Domination, Demolition, and Headquarters. The AK74u is really an amazing gun!

Spectre – You unlock the Spectre at level 41. It takes 4 shots to kill someone at close range and 5 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.06 seconds. Its magazine size is 30 rounds and 45 with extended magazines. I first discovered the Spectre when my Famas ran out of ammo. So I killed an enemy then picked up his Spectre with a Red Dot Sight that was customized with a red lens, green three-dot reticule. I went 5 and 0 with that gun, however the map was WMD and I was defending Flag C in Domination. So it was mostly close combat kills. The Spectre has had a lot of debate over whether it is good or not. Personally I use it on firing range, nuketown and even medium sized maps when playing domination. The Spectre does have flaws though, for example killing someone at long range is rather difficult and you will often fail. When suppressed the damage seems extremely low when trying to hit enemies who are not even that far away. Never put an ACOG on this gun! It is simply wrong! This is a close quarters combat weapon, so there is no need for an ACOG sight.

Kiparis – The Kiparis is the classified submachine gun. You ‘unlock’ it after purchasing all other submachine guns. It takes 4 shots to kill someone at close range and 5 shots at long range. Time between shots is 0.06 seconds. Its magazine size is 20 rounds and 30 with extended magazines. Basically the Kiparis is the bigger brother to the scorpion. It has slightly less damage but more range. It is very accurate and I find it to have little recoil. After discovering the use of some submachine guns only in confined spaces, I have really grown to love the Kiparis. It dominates your opponents when you are defending an objective. There are annoying things about it though. The first thing you’ll notice is that the shells shoot out the top of the gun. At first I thought it was really cool, but then it really annoyed me. Now I don’t really notice when I use it, but it was certainly annoying for a period of time. Another thing is the magazine size is way too small! You can use extended magazines and get the clip size up to 30, but I really recommend using a suppressor or a Reflex sight.

3 SHOTGUNS

Stakeout – You unlock the Stakeout at level 8. It fires 8 pellets per shot. I couldn’t find an accurate statistics on it or any other shotgun so I have conducted a review using Combat training. I found that the Stakeout is my favorite shotgun because of its range and damage. It reminds me of a sturdier version of the SPAS-12 from MW2. I found that even without Steady Aim Pro the spread is very condensed for quite a distance. If you’re playing domination you’ll have no problem clearing out the flag’s with this gun. Getting to the flag’s is the real challenge with this gun. I found that it’s a one shot kill at close range. At a medium range it takes about 3 shells to kill your enemies. Although I wasn’t able to use Steady Aim Pro I found a clip on youtube or this guy on using the stakeout with Steady Aim Pro on Nuketown. He did really well and it looks like Steady Aim Pro makes a huge difference. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QaO4j7eBGVY he also seems to get great range with it. When you use the grip it also made a difference with the accuracy of the gun when I hip fired. So if you are planning to use the Stakeout, use Steady Aim Pro and the Grip attachment.

SPAS-12 – You unlock the SPAS-12 at level 24. It fires 8 pellets per shot. I also did my own testing of the SPAS-12. The SPAS-12’s only attachment is a suppressor. I don’t know why you would use a suppressor on a shotgun, maybe so you don’t show up on the radar? I’m not sure. With the suppressor it makes a cool sound but takes away so much damage and range. Obviously if the target is right in front of you, you’ll kill him. But when he’s a few yards away you’ll struggle. Without the suppressor it is a mediocre shotgun. You’ll be able to clear out a flag if there are 3 people there, but it would only make sense to use as a secondary weapon, which is impossible in Black Ops (unless you found one and picked it up). I really dislike this shotgun to be honest; it’s like the M1014 in MW2 only worse. The recoil is terrible even for shotguns.

There are two other Shotguns, the Olympia that is a double-barreled shotgun (it is like the Stakeout damage wise) and then there is the HS10, which is a better version of the SPAS-12. You can dual wield them which is not too effective, as the damage isn’t too high and the spread is huge! When you use it without any attachment, it is pretty good. I used in a few online matches, one was on Villa and I found it to be pretty useful near Flag B and A in Domination. My KDR was about 1.5 that isn’t too great but it’s pretty good for a shotgun.

4 LIGHT MACHINE GUNS

HK21 – The HK21 is free as you already have it unlocked when you first start playing. It takes 3 shots to kill and enemy in close combat and 3 shots to kill a distant target. The normal magazine holds 30 rounds and with the extended magazine it is 60 rounds. The time between shots is 0.08 seconds. I used the HK21 in normal online game-play when I first started playing Black Ops. I liked it because of its high damage and rate of fire. You also use it in “The Gun Game,” which is a type of Wager Match it is the 12th gun you get. It is very accurate without any attachments, but to me it seems slow when you are firing. It seems a lot slower than the Galil and also the Stoner63. I would recommend this gun to new players, but once you start getting the hang of it switch to an assault rifle.

M60 – You unlock the M60 at level 21. It takes 2 shots to kill and enemy in close combat and 3 shots to kill a distant target. The normal magazine holds 100 rounds and with the extended magazine it is 200 rounds. The time between shots is 0.11 seconds. I find that the M60 is very useful on smaller maps, because you don’t have to reload for a while and the damage is very high. The fire rate is slow so you have to play stealthy, which is hard saying there is no suppressor. If an enemy sees you before you fire at him, then you will probably die if he’s using a submachine gun, or even an assault rifle. It takes 9.70 seconds to reload the gun whether you’re out of ammo completely or you’re running low. When using this gun I suggest using a reflex sight because it takes away recoil and makes it easier to see enemies. You also use it in “The Gun Game,” which is a type of Wager Match it is the 13th gun you get.

Stoner63 – You ‘unlock’ the Stoner63 after buying every other Light Machine Gun there is. So the earliest you can use it is level 21. It takes 3 shots to kill and enemy in close combat and 3 shots to kill a distant target. The normal magazine holds 30 rounds and with the extended magazine it is 60 rounds. The time between shots is 0.06 seconds. I used the Stoner63 a lot in normal core games, especially in Domination. I was able to defend flag’s, capture flag’s and even run through opened spaces without dying. It has a very high rate of fire (even with the Famas) and the damage is also very high since it’s a Light Machine Gun. When using this gun I suggest using a reflex sight because it takes away recoil and makes it very lethal!

5 SNIPER RIFLES

Note: When using the Variable Power Scope when fully zoomed in, it is somewhat inaccurate.

WA2000 – You unlock the WA2000 at level 10. The WA2000 kills all enemies within two shots. If you hit them in the upper torso or head, it takes one shot. Lower torso and limbs take 2. The snipers’ damage stays the same at any range. Each sniper has it’s own individual ACOG scope and standard scope. The magazine holds 6 shots, and with extended magazines it holds 12. I dislike the ACOG on the WA2000. The WA2000 was in MW2 and is basically the same gun. It is very popular online due to its faster rate of fire and high damage.

L96A1 – You unlock the L96A1 at level 27. The L96A1 kills all enemies within two shots. If you hit them in the upper torso or head, it takes one shot. Lower torso and limbs take 2. The magazine holds 5 shots, and with extended magazines it holds 10. This is the least accurate sniper rifle in Black Ops statistically. The only time I use this gun is when I play “The Gun Game” and I like it lot more than the WA2000. It is a bolt-action sniper rifle and it is a worse version of the Intervention in MW2, because it is inaccurate and less powerful and it holds less ammo, so you have to reload more often.

PSG1 – The PSG1 is the classified sniper rifle, so the earliest you can unlock it is level 27, after purchasing all other sniper rifles. Personally the PSG1 is my favorite sniper rifle in Black Ops. It kills all enemies within two shots. If you hit them in the upper torso or head, it takes one shot. Lower torso and limbs take 2. The magazine holds 5 shots, and with extended magazines it holds 10. When using the ACOG scope it can pass as a terribly deadly semi-automatic assault rifle. The only difference is the time between shots and the magazine capacity. When using a suppressor the damage does suffer as with every other sniper rifle.

6 PISTOLS

Makarov – You unlock the Makarov at level 4. It takes 3 shots to kill close range targets and 5 shots to kill long-range targets. The magazine size is 8 bullets but with extended magazines it is 12. I find the Makarov to be effective when using the dual wield attachment. I use it when I play Domination and also it is standard in “The Gun Game” I find that I usually kill the first person I see with them.

Python – You unlock the Makarov at level 18. It takes 2 shots to kill close range targets and 4 shots to kill long-range targets. The magazine size is 6 bullets. It is a very amazing gun! It is the only pistol that guarantees me kills from a distance. In hardcore matches I use an ACOG scope on it, and it takes one hit to kill enemies at close to medium distances. The Speed Reloader is very helpful when you are not using Sleight of Hand. I usually use the dual wield attachment so I only pull it out when it is absolutely necessary and when I am defending objectives.

CZ75 – The CZ75 is the most interesting secondary weapon. You ‘unlock’ it after purchasing all the other pistols. It takes 3 shots to kill close range targets and 5 shots to kill long-range targets. The magazine size is 12 bullets but with extended magazines it is 16. The attachments are Upgraded Iron Sights, Extended Magazines, Dual Wield, Suppressor and Full Auto Upgrade. Although the full auto upgrade sounds fancy and exciting, it is very useless in Core Matches. In Hardcore Headquarters and other hardcore games, it is very useful. The ‘upgrade’ reduces damage and has very bad recoil. I find that the extended magazine upgrade is much more effective. The suppressor is another attachment (it is also available on the Makarov, M1911 and ASP) but it takes away as much damage as the full auto upgrade.

7 LAUNCHERS

M72 LAW – The M72 LAW is a launcher that can be used as a vehicle lock on and also free fire. The rockets have very low damage when free firing, but it is the only vehicle lock on launcher until the STRELA-3, which is unlocked at level 30. The M72 LAW reminds me of a much worse version of the AT4 from MW2.

RPG – The RPG is a launcher that fires unguided rockets. You get two and you cannot take down aircrafts and they are very inaccurate.

STRELA-3 – You unlock the STRELA-3 at level 30. It is vehicle lock on only! You get two missiles, which can shoot down any helicopter. I like the STREL-3 more than the Stinger from MW2, because the sights are better, and you can zoom in and lock on faster. It is also very helpful when trying to unlock Ghost Pro.

8 SPECIALS

Ballistics Knife – You unlock the Ballistics Knife at level 15. It is a one shot kill and you get two knives, which you can fire and retrieve. It is referred to as “a lazy man’s throwing knife” as it is a point and shoot weapon and is shot rather than thrown. It is rather hard to use because unless you have a 3 or 4-bar connection, you will have to seriously anticipate where your enemy is going.

Crossbow – The only crossbow available online comes with 2 explosive tips. During the Campaign, at one level you get to use a Crossbow with a Variable Zoom Scope. It was really fun to use and was a bit of a challenge. I would have liked to see that in the multiplayer session, however I did not. You unlock the crossbow at level 33.

9 LETHAL

Frag Grenade – You are given the frag grenade from level 1. It is an anti-personnel explosive. It is useful when using classes that are used from a distance (sniper rifles, assaults with an ACOG etc.) because it can travel further than a Semtex and it will roll around corners or down hill or down stairs.

Semtex – You have to unlock the Semtex by purchasing it for 1000 COD points. It is said to be ‘over powered’ and I do find this to be true. It is a very deadly grenade because it has a big explosion radius and you have less time to react than an uncooked frag. Enemies also cannot throw it back at you, since it sticks to any surface. You can also ‘Stick” and enemy with it, and this is a direct impact, that will even kill an enemy with the Flak Jacket perk.

Tomahawk – You have to unlock the Tomahawk by purchasing it for 1000 COD points. It is like the throwing knife in MW2 because it can be thrown and picked up again and again. I like the Tomahawk when I try to get awesome kills, however it is useless if you are playing seriously.

10 TACTICAL

Willy Pete – The Willy Pete is a tactical grenade that causes a smoke screen and also damages players if they are too close to it. It is the first Tactical grenade you get and it effective in situations where you need to either get out or into a building undetected. You only get one grenade though.

Nova Gas – This slows players down, blurs their damage and causes damage over time. It is good if someone is camping in a corner or in a room and you are able to toss a grenade in there. You only get one.

Flashbang – You get two of them. They blind and deafen your enemy and also delays claymores, C4, Sentry Guns and SAM Turrets. This is my favorite tactical grenade, because it blinds your enemies so you can kill them with ease and they cannot hear your footprints so there is no need for Ninja.

Concussion – You get two of them. They impair movement greatly and also ‘disorientates’ your enemies. They also stun Claymores, C4, Sentry Guns and SAM Turrets. When hit with a concussion grenade, your screen becomes over saturated and darker. It is very hard to kill an enemy but I personally find Flashbangs to be more deadly.

Decoy – You get two Decoys that simulate gunfire and appear as red dots on the enemies’ gunfire. These were very effective before lots of people started using them, however I find myself looking at my mini map whenever they go off but only briefly.

11 EQUIPMENT

Camera Spike – The camera spike allows you to see a live stream of everything in front of it. It replaces your mini map (unless you hit UP on the D-Pad) and is slightly larger than the mini map. It can be moved and rearranged just like any other piece of equipment.

C4 – You get two C4s and the way I use them is I leave C4 and detonate them from a distance. For example if I am playing Domination I place one at Flag A and try to capture Flag B and then detonate it when I am informed we are loosing that flag. The only problem is someone usually blows them up with Hacker.

Tactical Insertion – This allows you to respawn next to it after it’s been placed on the ground. The only time I saw players use this was when I was playing Headquarters and they placed it near the Headquarters before they captured it, so when they respawn they could ambush us. It was very effective at first but in the end they paid for it. It was also very annoying!

Jammer – When you deploy a Jammer it scrambles the enemy radar within its radius. The radius is shown as a green circle and you can still see your mini map. I find this very effective when defending an objective. It also temporarily disables enemies’ equipment.

Motion Sensor – The motion sensor is basically a portable mini UAV that shows enemies in a specific area (where you deploy it). It is very useful when your team doesn’t have a spy plan or blackbirds. This is the piece of equipment I usually use when I defend a Flag or the objective.

Claymore – The claymore is very effective in Black Ops, more so than in MW1 and 2 and the Bouncing Betty in WaW. It will kill you the most out of every piece of equipment, and the only way to really never or nearly never get killed is when you use Hacker.

12 PERK 1

Lightweight – Lightweight allows you to run and walk faster. It is very useful for a run and gun class. Lightweight Pro makes you impervious to fall damage.

Scavenger – Scavenger allows you to replenish your ammunition and lethal grenades when you walk over blue scavenger packs. Scavenger Pro doubles your starting ammunition and allows you replenish Tactical grenades. With Scavenger (Pro) you will not be able to resupply launchers or equipment.

Ghost – Ghost lets you walk undetected when the enemy has a Spy Plane, but if you do not have a suppressor you will still show up. It is like Cold Blooded from MW2. Ghost Pro allows you to be undetected by aircrafts, infrared sights and sentries. Also enemies will not (like in MW2) see your name or get a red crosshair.

Flak Jacket – Flak jackets reduce enemy explosives and allows you to survive any ‘indirect’ explosives, such as Claymores, C4, Grenades, RC-XD’s and Missiles. Flak Jacket Pro deflects fire damage (Napalm Strikes) and when you pick up a Frag Grenade, it resets the pin.

Hardline – Hardline reduces the amount of kills you need for any killstreak by one. Interestingly with Hardline Pro you can randomly choose another reward from any air dropped package (SAM Turret, Carepackage, Sentry Gun etc.). You can still take the package or try again. In my case the reward usually improves.

13 PERK 2

Hardened – Hardened increases your bullet penetration but does not increase normal bullet damage. It is similar to FMJ from MW2. Hardened Pro increases bullet damage to air support, and increases flinch when are shot by an enemy.

Scout – Enables you to hold your breath longer when looking down a weapon scope. Scout Pro allows you switch to your secondary faster.

Steady Aim – Steady Aim increases your weapons hip fire accuracy and is very helpful when Dual Wielding a gun. Steady Aim Pro allows you to aim faster after sprinting and ‘recover’ faster after a knife lunge.

Sleight of Hand – Sleight of Hand enables you to reload double as fast. Sleight of Hand Pro allows you to ADS (aim down sight) doubly fast (but not with snipers so there is ‘no’ no scoping).

Warlord – Warlord allows you to add two Primary Weapon attachments. Warlord Pro lets you start with one more Lethal Grenade and Tactical Grenade (except Willy Petes).

14 PERK 3

Tactical Mask – Tactical Mask protects you against all the affects of Nova gas. Tactical Mask Pro reduces the effects of Concussions and Flashbangs as well as revealing the position of a flashed or stunned enemy.

Marathon – Marathon increases your sprint time, but has no effect on your speed. Marathon Pro lets you sprint infinitely.

Ninja – Ninja allows you to move almost silently. Ninja Pro allows you to move totally silently and increases the sound of enemy footsteps.

Second Chance – Second Chance allows you to survive a ‘normal’ death by dropping to the ground and pulling out a your pistol. After 10 seconds you will still die. Second Chance Pro allows your teammates to heal you even if they are not using Second Chance (Pro), and you also survive on the ground for longer.

Hacker – Hacker is the most interesting Perk in the game for me. It allows you to see enemy equipment. Hack Pro allows you to actually take over (hack) enemy equipment (Claymores, C4, Motion Sensors, Camera Spikes and Jammers) and even sabotage enemy carepackages (SAM Turrets, Carepackages, Sentry Guns etc.). When the enemy tries to open their package they will be blown up. Hacker Pro also allows you to be unseen by motion sensors.

Reasoning:

With the Commando at first I really hated he gun. It had too much recoil and not enough damage. It reminded me of the M4 on MW2 only a lot worse! When you put the Reflex sight on it, it makes a huge difference with the recoil and is a lot more like the M4 in MW2. I also tried the COMMANDO class with Warlord so I could use a suppressor, but (for me) there was still way too much recoil. In my first game I got two SR71's (Blackbirds 8 kill-streak or 7 with Hardline) and 1 Huey (Chopper Gunner 9 kill-streak or 8 with Hardline).

The Galil also took about one match to get use to. When I first used it I really didn’t like it. It was very slow and felt wrong. Once I realized it was a defensive weapon, I started using it that way and really grew to love it! It is so accurate and has barely any recoil. It has a higher damage than the Famas and a lot less recoil, I seriously suggest giving it a try!

Motion Sensor! The motion sensor costs 5000 credits and is basically a portable UAV that covers a 'small' area. It covers approximately a little less than one square on the map. (So it could almost cover all of B2 on any map). I highly recommend the motion sensor. It is a lot more helpful than claymores, camera spikes and jammers, since you can use it until it is destroyed or hacked by a player with Hacker Pro.

Hacker Pro! Hacker Pro is an awesome Perk and I like it more than Ninja. I find that people don't really seem to pay attention to footsteps saying they are a lot harder to hear than in MW2, so I highly recommend Hacker. Hacker lets you see enemy player's equipment. To get Hacker Pro, you have to Destroy 10 enemy equipment or explosives, Kill 25 enemies with claymores or C4 and Kill 25 enemies within the radius of your motion sensor or Jammer. Hacker Pro allows you to remain unseen on enemy Motion Sensors and also lets you capture and simultaneously booby trap enemy kill-streaks (Care package, SAM Turrets, Sentry Gun etc.) and also you can hack other players equipment which only takes 3 seconds.

Ghost Pro! Ghost Pro is the best perk in this game. It lets you be unseen from EVERYTHING besides a Motion Sensor!

So with the Combo for Ghost Pro and Hacker Pro you are invisible to enemy players via equipment and kill streaks (besides the Blackbird).

  • With the reflex sight I use outline circle with dot, color teal and lens color yellow. The yellow and teal gives a great contrast, which makes it easier to see your reticle. I use the outline circle with dot because it is easier to aim with (in my opinion) and is not too fancy such as the skulls, stars etc.

16 KILLSTREAKS

3 - Spy Plane

           - RC-XD

4 - Counter Spy Plane

- SAM Turret

5 - Carepackage

           - Napalm Strike

6 - Sentry Gun

           - Mortar Strike

7 - Attack Helicopter

           - Valkyrie Rockets

8 - Blackbird

9 - Chopper Gunner

11 - Attack Dogs

           - Gunship

Personally I use Valkyrie Rockets, Blackbird and Attack Dogs. I use the Valkyrie because I find them more effective than Attack helicopters. At first I found Valkyrie Rockets hard to use and very bad. You get two missiles and fire them from a 45˚ angle, and they are rather wobbly and you will probably crash using them your first time. I suggest going into Combat Training to get good with them, so you do not waste them. I use the Blackbird because it shows a live stream of your enemies and you see where they’re looking, so it is easy to survive. Attack Dogs are way more effective than the Gunship, because they can kill enemies almost anywhere. By my second use of attack dogs, I had a total of 20 kills.

17 WAGER MATCHES

Wager Matches is by far the most interesting new online match. There are four different types of Wager Matches, One in the Chamber, Sticks and Stones, the Gun Game and Sharpshooter.

One in the Chamber is where each player gets three lives and one bullet per life. When you kill an enemy (either knife or shot) you get their bullet. So if you knife someone you can get two bullets, which you can then trick, your enemies with. I really like One in the Chamber because it is very intense and tactful and you have to play using your brain.

Sticks and Stones is probably to most annoying game in Wager Matches, but I still love it! You get a crossbow with explosive tips as your primary, a ballistics knife as your secondary and a Tomahawk as your Lethal. You can knife too but knifing and tomahawk kills are a lot less than ballistics and crossbows. When you are tomahawked you loose all your points.

The Gun Game is my favorite wager match because it is so intense and fun. You start off with the Python with a speed reloader and for every kill you get with your weapon, you advanced to the next. There are 20 all together but if you get knifed you are set back a gun.

Sharpshooter is my least favorite Wager Match. You get a specific gun for 45 seconds and you have to kill the enemies with it. The last minute is double points, so if you have a sniper on nuketown, you won’t do so well.

18 COMBAT TRAINING

Combat Training is a way to escape noob-tubers, campers and other annoying players online. You can play team death-match or free-for-all against a select number of bots. You can change the skill level of bots, but they progress as you do. My friends and I play combat training together sometimes when we get bored or tired of online games. It is a great way to test killstreaks and create-a-class combinations.

19 ONLINE MATCHES

Online Matches can be exasperating at times, because of noob-tubers, campers and other annoying players. I am going to give you the best advice I can give so this won’t be a problem for you. The first thing is to stay hidden and off the mini map as much as possible. I use a suppressor on my gun classes that I use most often, so when I shot I won’t show up. I also never run around corners or run out in the open. I play cautiously and the motion sensor is a great advancement to this. Another piece of advice I can play is always think stealth and defense, even when offensively playing. Always check obvious and not so obvious camping places for enemy players. Hacker will give them away more easily since you can see their equipment. If they spawn behind you there is almost nothing you can do, just keep calm and try to avoid it in the future. My KD is not too good since I usually try to capture objectives and play the games the way their meant to be played, so it is 1.45 but constantly increasing. Lately it’s been 2.00-4.50 so I’m constantly improving my strategy.
